SEBI cautions investors against unsolicited investment tips
There have been a lot of pump and dump schemes over the years in which investors have lost money. We’ve been warning users not to invest based on unsolicited tips from SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. and we also alert users on Kite through a Nudge if they unknowingly try buying these fraudulent stocks. SEBI issued a press release yesterday warning users not to invest based on these tips on SMS, social media etc. Please don’t invest based on random stock tips.
