Trading holiday on account of Maharashtra Day
The equity, F&O, and currency markets will remain closed on May 01, 2024, on account of Maharashtra Day. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half and trading will be open only in the evening session (5:00 pm onwards).
Since it’s also a settlement holiday, your commodity account balance on May 01, 2024, will not include the credits from:
- Profits (Realized and Marked to Market) from trades or positions in the commodity derivatives on April 30.
- Credits from exiting option positions on April 30.
You can check your funds’ statement on Console to see the unsettled credits in your account. Keep track of trading and settlement holidays here.
Note:
- Funds withdrawn on May 01, 2024, will be processed on May 02, 2024, and you will receive the funds by 2 PM on May 03, 2024.
- Profits and credits received from trades or exiting positions in the derivatives segment (F&O and CDS) on April 30, 2024, will be available for withdrawal on May 02, 2024, by the end of the day.
