Revision in expiry day for S&P BSE BANKEX F&O contracts

The BSE has changed the expiry day for S&P BANKEX Futures and Options contracts from Friday to Monday, effective from October 16, 2023. Existing contracts with a Friday expiry date will be revised to Monday on October 13, 2023, end of the day.

Weekly contracts Friday of every week excluding the expiry week of the monthly contract
  • All existing weekly contracts shall expire on Monday of every week
  • If Monday is a trading holiday, then the expiry day is the previous trading day
Monthly & Quarterly contracts Last Friday of the expiry month
  • All monthly contracts shall expire on the last Monday of the respective contract month
  • If Monday is a trading holiday, then the expiry day is the previous trading day
