Update [September 26, 2023]: The deadline has been extended to December 31, 2023. Check the SEBI circular here.
As per the SEBI circular, the deadline for providing the choice of nomination details has been extended to September 30, 2023. However, this deadline does not apply to Zerodha account holders, and their accounts will not be blocked, as the choice of nomination is communicated to the exchanges when the account is opened.
However, we recommend our users to add nominee(s) in case of unforeseen event. To know how to add a nominee, click here.
Note: Due to the high volume of requests, processing nominee addition requests may take up to 5 days.
