Revision in expiry day for MIDCPNIFTY F&O contracts

The NSE has changed the expiry day for MIDCPNIFTY Futures and Options contracts from Wednesday to Monday, effective from August 17, 2023. Existing contracts with a Wednesday expiry date will be revised to Monday on August 16, 2023, end of the day.

Weekly contracts Wednesday of every week excluding the expiry week of the monthly contract
  • All existing weekly contracts shall expire on Monday of every week
  • If Monday is a trading holiday, then the expiry day is the previous trading day
Monthly & Quarterly contracts Last Wednesday of the expiry month
  • All monthly contracts shall expire on the last Monday of the respective contract month
  • If Monday is a trading holiday, then the expiry day is the previous trading day
