Suspension of trading - HDFC Limited
The equity shares of HDFC Ltd shall not be available for trading w.e.f July 13, 2023, pursuant to the scheme of amalgamation with HDFC Bank Ltd.
42 fully paid-up equity shares of the face value of Re.1/- each of HDFC Bank Ltd shall be issued and allotted for every 25 fully paid-up equity shares of the face value of Rs.2/- each held in HDFC Ltd as on record date, July 13, 2023.
In view of the above, the existing F&O contracts of expiry months July 2023, August 2023, and September 2023 will expire on July 12, 2023, and shall be physically settled.
Note:
- The HDFC contracts will undergo physical settlement and physical delivery margins will be charged for open positions as per our policy.
- The expiry date on the Marketwatch will continue to display as the old expiry date but the contract will be available for trading only till the revised expiry date.
