Revision in the rate of Stamp duty for the state of Uttar Pradesh[Update]
From April 01, 2019, Stamp Duty on transactions of securities and commodities for the state of Uttar Pradesh has been revised as explained below:
| Old Duty | New Duty |
| 0.002% or max Rs 1000 per day | 0.05% or max Rs 1000 per day |

Update 10 April 2019- Stamp duty charges have been reversed to 0.002% or max of Rs 1000 per day for the state of Uttar Pradesh as per this exchange circular.
