Launch of trading in futures based on overnight call rate (MIBOR)

NSE has introduced trading in futures based on overnight call rate (MIBOR).The contract will begin trading from December 3, 2018.

Unit of Trading: Interest on a notional principal of Rs. 5 crores for one month calculated on 30/365 day basis at a rate equal to average daily FBIL overnight MIBOR for the contract month.

Tick size: Quarter basis point (0.25 basis point i.e. 0.0025)

Trading hours 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (Monday to Friday)

Freeze quantity: 40 Lots

You will be allowed to trade in this contract if you have the currency derivatives segment enabled on your account. Find more details of the contract here

Note: Since the contract is newly introduced, the contracts will not be available for trading until they are tested internally to cover for all scenarios.
