Scheme of arrangement of Tata Motors Limited (TATAMOTORS)
Tata Motors Limited has announced a Scheme of Demerger, with TML Commercial Vehicles Limited(TMLCV).
Corporate action Ex-date: October 14, 2025
All existing contracts with expiry dates October 28, 2025, November 25, 2025 and December 30, 2025, will expire on Monday, October 13, 2025.
The contracts will be settled by way of physical settlement. You can read more on our policy on physical settlement here.
Note: The expiry date on our trading platform would display the original dates, i.e., October 28, 2025, November 25, 2025 and December 30, 2025; however, the contract will be available for trading only till October 13, 2025. On October 13, 2025, the NRML order type will remain blocked throughout the day(All intraday order types will be available to trade).
Derivative contracts on TATAMOTORS shall be introduced again with expiry dates—October 28, 2025, November 25, 2025 and December 30, 2025, from October 14, 2025, onwards, it is the ex-date of the underlying. The list of new option strikes will be provided one day prior to the ex-date/effective date.
A pre-open call auction session shall be conducted for TATAMOTORS in the capital market segment on October 14, 2025, from 9 AM to 10 AM. This is to determine the opening price of TATAMOTORS, based on which a minimum of five in-the-money strikes, one at-the-money strike, and five out-of-the-money strikes will be made available to the market.
New option strikes will be made available based on the price discovered in the SPOS session of the Capital Market segment on the ex-date.

For MTF Positions – MTF positions will be squared off a day before the ex-date for corporate actions (except bonus, split, dividend, and rights).
Positions will be squared off on October 13, 2025, for the upcoming demerger, with a record date of October 14, 2025.
To retain your holdings, please convert to delivery (CNC) by 4:00 PM, October 10, 2025.
