Electricity Futures contracts expiry - September 2025
Electricity futures contracts are cash-settled based on the Volume Weighted Average of Day-Ahead Market prices (DAM-UMCP) for the entire month; the settlement price may differ significantly from market trading prices. This creates volatility and uncertainty in final settlement.
Please square off your position in this contract by 9 PM on September 26, 2025; failing to do so, we may square off the position to avoid uncertainty in the final settlement.
