Revision in expiry day of Index and Stock derivatives contracts

  • The exchanges have announced changes to their F&O contract expiry days.

    The expiry day for the existing contracts will be unchanged. 

    For new contracts: 

    • The expiry day will remain unchanged for contracts expiring on or before 31 August 2025.
    • The expiry day for contracts expiring on or after 01 September 2025 will change as follows:
      1. For NSE, the expiry day will be revised from the present Thursday to Tuesday.

        The revised contract expiries will be as follows:
