Revision in expiry day of Index and Stock derivatives contracts

The exchanges have announced changes to their F&O contract expiry days.

The expiry day for the existing contracts will be unchanged.

For new contracts:

The expiry day will remain unchanged for contracts expiring on or before 31 August 2025.
The expiry day for contracts expiring on or after 01 September 2025 will change as follows:
- For NSE, the expiry day will be revised from the present Thursday to Tuesday.
- For BSE, the expiry day will be revised from the present Tuesday to Thursday.
