Trading holiday on account of Moharram
The equity, F&O, and currency markets will remain closed on July 17, 2024, on account of Moharram. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half and trading will be open only in the evening session (5:00 pm onwards).
Since it’s also a settlement holiday, your commodity account balance on July 17, 2024, will not include the credits from:
- Profits (Realized and Marked to Market) from trades or positions in the commodity derivatives on July 16.
- Credits from exiting option positions on July 16.
You can check your funds’ statement on Console to see the unsettled credits in your account. Keep track of trading and settlement holidays here.
Note:
- The instant withdrawal facility will remain available for fund withdrawals.
- Regular withdrawal requests placed on July 17, 2024, will be processed on July 18, 2024, and you will receive the funds by 2 PM on July 19, 2024.
- Profits and credits received from trades or exiting positions in the derivatives segment (F&O and CDS) on July 16, 2024, will be available for withdrawal on July 18, 2024, by the end of the day.
