Trading holiday on account of Ram Navami
The equity, F&O, and currency markets will remain closed on April 17, 2024, on account of Ram Navami. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half and trading will be open only in the evening session (5:00 pm onwards).
Since it’s also a settlement holiday, your commodity account balance on April 17, 2024, will not include the credits from:
- Profits (Realized and Marked to Market) from trades or positions in the commodity derivatives on April 16.
- Credits from exiting option positions on April 16.
You can check your funds’ statement on Console to see the unsettled credits in your account. Keep track of trading and settlement holidays here.
Note:
- Funds withdrawn on April 17, 2024, will be processed on April 18, 2024, and you will receive the funds by 2 PM on April 19, 2024.
- Profits and credits received from trades or exiting positions in the derivatives segment (F&O and CDS) on April 16, 2024, will be available for withdrawal on April 18, 2024, by EOD.
