Trading holiday on account of Maha Shivaratri

The equity, F&O, and currency markets will remain closed on March 08, 2024, on account of Maha Shivaratri. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half and trading will be open only in the evening session (5:00 pm onwards).

Since it’s also a settlement holiday, your commodity account balance on March 08, 2024, will not include the credits from:

  • Profits (Realized and Marked to Market) from trades or positions in the commodity derivatives on March 07.
  • Credits from exiting option positions on March 07.

You can check your funds’ statement on Console to see the unsettled credits in your account. Keep track of trading and settlement holidays here.

Note:

  • Funds withdrawn on March 08, 2024, will be processed on March 09, 2024, and you will receive the funds by 2 PM on March 10, 2024.
  • Profits and credits received from trades or exiting positions in the derivatives segment (F&O and CDS) on March 07, 2024, will be available for withdrawal on March 11, 2024, by EOD.
