Trading Holiday declared on Monday, January 22, 2024

The equity, F&O, and currency markets will remain closed on Monday, January 22, 2024, on account of the Holiday declared under the Negotiable Instrument Act. Commodity markets will be closed for the first half and trading will be open only in the evening session (5:00 pm onwards).

Since it’s also a settlement holiday, your commodity account balance on January 22, 2024, will not include the credits from:

  • Profits (Realized and Marked to Market) from trades or positions in the commodity derivatives on January 19.
  • Credits from exiting option positions on January 19.

Note:

  • Funds withdrawal request placed on 22nd January 2024 will be processed on 23rd January 2024 and you will receive the funds by 2 PM on 24th January 2024.
  • Profits and credits received from equity trades or exiting positions in the derivatives segment (F&O & CDS) on January 19, 2024, will be settled and available for withdrawal on January 23, 2024, by EOD.
