Quarterly Settlement of Funds - October 2023

All unused funds in your Zerodha account as of the end of the day on October 6, 2023, will be transferred back to your primary bank account as part of the mandatory quarterly settlement process. You can expect to receive the credit of funds in your bank account during the day on October 7, 2023.

Stockbrokers are required to transfer unused funds back to the client’s bank account as per SEBI regulations. Learn more.

Note:

  1. Clients with inactive accounts (no trades, fund additions for the last five days) will be transferred back funds between the 3rd to 5th of October. Funds added back to the trading account before 6th October and remaining unused will be settled back to the bank account as per the regulatory requirement.
  2. Withdrawal requests placed on the 6th of October onwards will be processed on the 9th of October.
  3. Funds additions for the equity segment will not be available from 8 pm, 6th October until midnight.
  4. For clients with no trades in the Commodity segment in the last 5 days, the funds will be transferred back on 5th October. Funds added back to the trading account before 6th October and remaining unused will be settled back to the bank account as per the regulatory requirement.
