About Shree Balaji (Mala) Textiles

Shree Balaji (Mala) Textiles Limited is an ethnic apparel company primarily focused on the sale of women’s sarees under its distinctive brand, Mala. The company’s core business revolves around its main product specialisation, cotton sarees, alongside embroidery and fancy sarees. It generates revenue from operations through product sales and sales of services to a business-to-business-focused market. Strategically adopting an asset-light operating model, the company relies heavily on outsourcing, manufacturing approximately 95% of its products through an extensive network of independent third-party job workers. While the company maintains its own manufacturing facility in Jetpur, Gujarat, the majority of its production processes, such as bleaching, printing, and embellishments, are outsourced to these intermediaries. The business relies heavily on traditional distribution channels, serving a wide network of retailers, wholesalers, and dealers, with its primary revenue generation heavily concentrated within the Eastern India region.
