Issue with the order placement and viewing positions (NSE, BSE, MCX)

Duration: 03:47 PM to 04:13 PM

Incident: There was an issue with the order placement temporarily on Kite for some of our users from 03:47 PM to 04:13 PM owing to a certain process failing at the OMS server managed by Refinitiv (exchange empanelled OMS vendor). Equity cash post-market session, currency derivative, and commodity derivative orders were impacted. Further, some users faced intermittent issues with the display of positions till 09:36 PM.

Cause: Order placement on our trading platform was impacted owing to a process failing on one of the servers at Refinitiv’s end (exchange empanelled RMS and OMS vendor)

Approx clients affected: 1500 to 2000
