August 17th, 2017, Thursday, is a settlement holiday on account of Parsi New Year. As a result, stocks bought on August 16th, 2017, Wednesday, will not be available for selling on Thursday (17th August) i.e., BTST transactions will not be available. You will be able to sell these shares August 18th, 2017, Friday, onwards.
