We recommend reading this chapter on Varsity to learn more and understand the concepts in-depth.

Key takeaways from this chapter

  1. Technical Analysis is a popular method to develop a point of view on markets. Besides, TA also helps in identifying entry and exit points.
  2. Technical Analysis visualizes the actions of market participants in the form of stock charts.
  3. Patterns are formed within the charts, and these patterns help a trader identify trading opportunities.
  4. TA works best when we keep a few core assumptions in perspective.
  5. TA is used best to identify short term trades.

Just out of curiosity, what happens if we see a hammer in an already going uptrend or a hanging man in an already going downtrend? What would be the future of the price after that ? Thank you

    • Karthik Rangappa says:

The presence of these patterns indicate more bullishness (hammer in uptrend) and bearishness (hanging man in downtrend). But remember, these patterns are just probabilities of how the prices are expected to evolve and there are no guarantees 🙂

  19. Tradingmarketbraker says:

These videos has helped me soo much and i have searched on so many platforms to get a proper stock market course that would explain everything in detail in beginners language and i haven’t found any that have reached half of these modules. I love it and have recommended it to many people.
Even when i was in college i used to be very keen to learn and wanted to learn the stocks and there was a crash course that was provided by our college for the students interested in this subject. But that course did no good to me and the fees i paid to learn that course went down the pithole.
But this is great. So nice you guys are doing this and that though just because you all have made it free i was able to access it, and was able to help so many people who wanted to learn stock market in an authentic way but didn’t have the money to do so.

But i do hope you people bring add some more topics in these module and can always have a room for improvement!

    • Karthik Rangappa says:

Thanks so much for the kind words! I’m glad you liked the module and videos. Its a continuous effort and we will keep pushing ourselves to improve as much as we can.
