Big thanks to zeroda team for helping a newcomers like me. Even after using app for few months I was so confused and hence was looking for some online or offline classes just to understand technical fundamental analysis etc.
2 days back I had call with zeroda team and he guided me to go through varsity zeroda . All videos are short yet self explanatory. And clearing out almost all my doubts. Yet to complete the series but must say, I am soooo thankful to each one of you.

how are you able to hook viewers with these short videos and those simple graphics ? Just Wow , I got through couple of modules in no time and understood all of it with least prior knowledge. Exception work Karthik and Pratheek. How many actually give such immense education for free. Great initiative and even smarter move. More fintech literates , more traders on Zerodha 🙂
Couple of questions though:
1) No login option here . I sorta started consuming videos here and then dlded the app. I would like my app to track my progress which is 2 modules . I d like to go through all modules and get the certification too.
2) I am an NRI ( but a proud Bengalurian , #GoZerodhaAlways), and I have NRE/NRO account but also have regular account with money earned in India . Do i still need to open Zerodha account using my NRE/NRO account and get all the PIS and stuff OR could i just use my other regular account for trading.
if it’s the former , kindly point me to a video on PIS and account opening. It’s a bit complicated.
1) The app tracks the progress, Ameet. Also here is the link to certification – https://zerodha.com/varsity/certified/ , but this is priced at Rs.250. We also have certification the app, which is free to take.
2) For the NRE/NRO query, I’d suggest you call or reach out to the support desk 🙂

I am a big fan of varsity but I do not understand why is there no full fledged video series like TA and FA text version. This will not only educate people better but also will act as good marketing for Zerodha, video content has best reach in today’s world. I know it is a big investment on time and efforts but do give it a thought. 10 videos of 10-15 mins aren’t enough to do justice to technical analysis module.

I am understanding trading sessions, where 1 session = 1 day. Avg. volume = (sum of volumes over 10 days)/10 , -> is that correct, I need clarification on this part.
