Zerodha wins the Emerging Equity Broking House – BSE-D&B award
Updated post on October 1, 2015, after winning the award for the second year in a row. First time for FY 14 on November 1, 2014, and second for FY 15 on September 30, 2015.

It gives us great pleasure in letting you know that your brokerage, Zerodha has won the Dun & Bradstreet / BSE “Emerging Equity Broking House 2014” award. This is the most prestigious annual award in the broking space, and we were privileged to share the stage with other award winners—industry stalwarts like Axis Securities, ICICI Direct, Edelweiss, Angel Broking, Kotak Securities, and SMC Global.
All the 150+ people from Zerodha thank each one of our 40,000+ clients from the bottom of our hearts. This would not have been possible without your love and continued support.
The awards are given considering our trading turnover, strength of our balance sheet, profitability, growth rate, and innovations in the business.

We have just won the same award for the second time in a row, for the year 2015. We are now a team of over 220 and 70000+ clients, with super successful products in Pi, Kite, Q & Quant. But we are still an emerging brokerage, and hopefully this is just a start of all the products/tools we will build for you. The other winners this year were: ICICI securities, Axis Securities, Edelweiss, Angel broking, and Motilal Oswal. Some pics from the event below.

Zerodha Should remember these are all temporary, Which changes every year. Unless they improve their customer service which is yet pathetic.
They will realize this one day by the time, everything would have gone ashes.
Especially when they have some real useless fellows at their Customer Care Governing people at higher tiers.
I am not a frustrated customer, but someone who have stopped Using Zerodha & someone recommends other brokerage with better customer service.
I am sure zerodha will delete this comment as it usually does to non-favorable comments.
Unless zerodha improves their scale to Customer Service, Their is no stopping of a downtrend.
We know enough big enterprises who vanished because of their poor customer service. Zerodha will soon be one such service if they do not change.

But one constructive feedback, I hope you will definitely look into it :
These days whenever we ( including my friends who are also Zerodha clients) call Zerodha (080-40402020), it takes atleast 3 mins to get someone respond and few times after 3 mins there is no automated voice also. Even Call & Trade it takes too much waiting time.
Zerodha is growing very fast and I think there is not enough associates in customer care department which results in higher waiting time for clients because I guess they are already busy in other calls. So can you please deploy adequate no.of associates or someother way to reduce waiting time ?
Its purely positive feedback and I am only telling waiting time can be reduced.

Looks like other brokerage houses are also reducing their commissions inorder to attract retail investors. IIFL is offering Rs 9.99 as brokerage fees . Since IIFL has a better trading platform (both desktop and mobile) compared to Zerodha, it’s high time Zerodha did something to improve the user experience. Although the launch of Pi is awaited and I have high hopes that it will be a unique experience using it. But I’m deeply disappointed with the terrible mobile app which makes it virtually unusable. So at present, unless one is using the desktop platform, there is no other way to trade in the market considering the poor usability of HTML and mobile platform.
I do hope that Zerodha starts taking these issues seriously and comes out with better web and mobile applications so that more users can trade actively. Besides We are still waiting for the launch of “pi”. It’s sad that it has been delayed for so long.
Yeah, hoping that Pi is out soon. btw, IIFL is offering only web based platform with this flat fee model. No desktop or mobile version. Also IIFL has hidden charge, exchange charges at Zerodha is Rs 210 per crore and with IIFL it is Rs 380 per crore. So this whole Rs 9.99 by IIFL is just a gimmick.
I opened an account with IIFL and placed a trade just to check. It is actually 9.99 rupees and no other charges. Just asked for desktop and mobile version and they said it is there and they can send link but I didn’t try bcoz I am comfortable on web.

Can please tell me the US revised market timing (DAY LIGHT SAVING) for commodity market, because i am using one strategy is more successful for me.
