Power Mech Projects has won a ₹1,008.90 crore contract from JSW Thermal Energy Limited to carry out civil and structural works for the boiler-turbine-generator area of a 2x800 MW thermal power plant at Salboni, West Bengal. The order is scheduled for completion within 36 months from the commencement of work. The award comes from the JSW Group, one of India's largest business conglomerates, and marks one of the largest single orders in Power Mech's history. The company's order book, which stood at roughly ₹1,800 crore after its earlier Adani contract, will see a substantial boost. The contract is domestic and does not involve any related-party transactions.
