M&B Engineering’s board approved a ₹30 crore brownfield expansion at its Sanand plant, adding 10,000 MTPA of heavy structural steel capacity to the existing 12,000 MTPA base. The addition was expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of FY28 and financed through a term loan and internal accruals. The company said the project would support its PEB and heavy-structural-steel offering for data centres and high-rise buildings. Sanand is part of the Phoenix division, which generated about ₹985 crore, or 78% of revenue, in FY26. Orders on hand stood at ₹1,053 crore at June 30, including ₹278 crore of export orders within the Phenix division.
