Jindal Saw Ltd announced on 25 June 2026 that the American Petroleum Institute (API) has reinstated all of its API licenses for seamless pipes, effective 24 June 2026. The reinstatement follows successful demonstration of corrective and preventive measures addressing earlier non‑conformances that had been disclosed in February 2026. The re‑grant authorises Jindal Saw to affix the API Monogram on its seamless pipes, allowing it to resume certified supplies to global oil and gas majors and to participate in export tenders. The API licenses are valid until 24 June 2029.
