Capital Infra Trust's investment manager approved, subject to unitholder consent, the acquisition of 100% of six road-project companies from sponsor Gawar Construction Limited, valuing the assets at an aggregate adjusted enterprise value of ₹2,921.4 crore. The board also approved raising up to ₹2,675 crore through institutional placement, debt or a combination of both, and a preferential issue of up to 1.66 crore units worth ₹125 crore to the sponsor; Amit Kumar became chief investment officer and Akhil Banthiya was appointed chief financial officer.

MUMBAI, Feb 3 (Reuters) - India's Capital Infra Trust plans to raise 12 billion rupees ($137.6 million) through the sale of bonds maturing in 13 years, three bankers said on Monday.
It will pay a semi-annual coupon of 7.75% and has invited commitment bids for the issue on Thursday, they said.
The company did not immediately reply to a Reuters email seeking comment.
