AGPOPL emerged as the lowest bidder after an e-reverse auction held on 6-7 August. The project covered about 270 km of 765 kV double-circuit lines from Halvad to Vadodara in Gujarat, along with work at substations in Halvad, Vadodara and South Olpad. Bajel and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund formed the 26:74 venture in March to pursue Indian power-transmission opportunities, with Bajel contributing engineering, procurement and construction capabilities.
