Sixth Sense Ventures, a category II AIF, has acquired a 18.36% stake in AVG Logistics Ltd through a combination of the recently concluded rights issue and open market purchases. The acquirer, along with its PACs, purchased 30,76,264 equity shares, raising its holding from 2.38% to 18.36%. The acquisition date was June 11, 2026, and the disclosure was filed on June 15 under SEBI SAST regulations. The rights issue was part of AVG's previously announced ₹53 crore capital raise. Sixth Sense, founded by Nikhil Vora, is a well-known venture capital firm focused on consumer and logistics investments. The stake, valued at over ₹44 crore at the issue price, makes Sixth Sense one of the largest shareholders in the logistics company. The transaction underscores growing institutional interest in AVG Logistics.

AVG Logistics has secured a three-year transportation contract from Haldiram-Nagpur, deploying 100 dedicated vehicles to serve distribution needs across western, southern, and key eastern states. The contract is expected to generate about ₹35 crore in annual revenue for AVG Logistics, which reported total revenue of ₹551.52 crore in FY25. Haldiram Nagpur is a well-known Indian food brand with a strong domestic and international presence. The agreement was signed by senior executives from both companies and aligns with AVG's strategy of scaling through long-term dedicated fleet contracts.
