Skipper Ltd received a show cause notice dated 30 September 2026 from the Assistant Commissioner of State Tax, Bhubaneswar II, proposing a demand of Rs 227.53 crore over mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-2A and GSTR-3B. The company said it disputed the proposal in full and would pursue legal remedies. Skipper reported consolidated revenue of Rs 5,553 crore in FY26 with net profit of Rs 207 crore, with engineering and transmission and distribution accounting for about 79% of sales. Its order book stood at Rs 9,217 crore at the end of the June quarter after inflows of Rs 1,674 crore. The notice followed back-to-back transmission order wins of Rs 1,305 crore in August and Rs 797 crore in September.
