RMC Switchgears received a Letter of Award worth ₹23.63 crore from MAHAVITRAN, the Maharashtra state electricity distribution company, on July 8, 2026. The contract involves the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, and commissioning of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities at identified farmer sites across Maharashtra. The award is part of the "Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump" Yojana and the PM KUSUM B scheme, and includes a five-year comprehensive warranty with remote monitoring. The order is expected to be executed over a five-year period and adds to the company's existing electrical infrastructure order book.
