Mamata Machinery announced on July 25 that extreme rainfall over the prior 48 hours caused severe flooding and waterlogging at its Ahmedabad manufacturing unit, forcing a temporary suspension of production. The company's main plant, located in the Changodar-Bavla area, is experiencing flood-like conditions, though water levels have begun to recede. Management is assessing the impact on assets and operations, and has informed its insurer. The company noted that all assets are adequately covered by insurance.

Mamata Machinery's board on July 6 approved a dividend of 5% (₹0.5 per share) and announced the retirement of CEO Apurva N. Kane effective September 30, 2026, after more than four decades with the company. Rajashekar Venkat, formerly a senior executive at multinationals including Kennametal and Markem-Imaje, will take over as CEO from October 1. The board also appointed cost auditors and internal auditors for the coming financial year.
