Kothari Fermentation & Biochem has repaid its entire ₹44 crore bank facilities from Kotak Mahindra Bank and CRISIL Ratings has withdrawn the credit rating on those facilities. CRISIL stated the withdrawal was at the company's request and after receiving a no-dues certificate from the bank. The rating had earlier been downgraded to 'Issuer Not Cooperating' status. The repayment clears a debt burden that was significantly larger than the company's own market capitalisation.
