Insolation Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy, received a letter of award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. for nine solar power projects with combined capacity of 99 MW AC, or 128.7 MW DC. Awarded under Maharashtra’s Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, the projects entailed an estimated ₹425 crore investment and were to be commissioned within 18 months of execution of the power-purchase agreements. The plants were expected to generate about ₹59.72 crore of annual revenue at a tariff of ₹2.90 per unit over 25 years. Insolation Energy’s August investor presentation put recent orders at ₹1,776 crore and its order book above 2.1 GW, while the group had 5.5 GW of module capacity and was developing cell and aluminium-frame facilities.
