Bondada Engineering has acquired a 60% controlling stake in Onix IPP Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle implementing a 225 MW (AC) solar photovoltaic power project in Maharashtra under the PM-KUSUM Scheme. The project holds a 25-year power purchase agreement with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, with an estimated annual revenue of about ₹150.48 crore. The acquisition, executed through the purchase of 6,000 equity shares at face value, gives Bondada Engineering majority control of the SPV. All regulatory approvals have been obtained and the transaction is complete.
