Easily search for companies using brand or product names on Kite
Ever wondered who’s behind the brands and products you use every day? From your favorite snacks and clothing to the car or bike you ride, many familiar brands are actually owned by larger companies you might want to invest in. However, trying to figure out which companies own which brands can be confusing.
That’s why we’ve made it super simple on Kite. Now you can easily find companies just by searching their brands or products.
On Kite, go to the Marketwatch search, select Brands, and type in the name of any brand or product.
Note: Brand search is currently available on the Kite web and will be available on the Kite app in the coming updates.

Rather than doing all these why don\’t you focus on indices which are not showing in Kite.

it quite good and I like the way the zerodha team is taking efforts to many the site user friendly since most of them recognized the product by brand name they are not aware of that company name..
I would like to suggest if zerodha would add the buy and sell level as it is in trading view that would really help the new players and definitely zerodha would be able to attract the new customer or something on AI can also help! Just think on this….
We don\’t want to enter any company name or particular stock,we need upgrade like fyers ,if we click on index that will shows all companies in that index do like this improvements ..zerodha is tuff to search a particular cumpany any stocks there do information does provide any financial statements cannot shows and past performance and latest stocks movement nothing will show on zerodha ,if we compare to others platforms zerodha is worst platform

MCX is open till 11:30/11:55 pm. However we are not able to place trades at 10 pm in Zerodha platform due to schedule maintenance. What is the use of having MCX segment active when we are not able to place the MCX orders during scheduled maintenance?

Can you please implement the feature whereby we can set \’Trendline Alert\’ on a stock chart? That is when the stock price touches our drawn trendline (horizontal or slanted trendline), we should get an alert (pop-up message or email message).

Implement option chain in the terminal and from that option orders could be placed is more convenient like other stock brokers…
Hi Barathi, we already provide the option chain facility powered by Sensibull, and you can also place orders from the option chain.
1.Lines like trend lines, horizontal lines etc will be deleted automatically after some time.
2. Kindly provide link to open the companies directly in peers column itself.. If I want to see the peers company, it will open only after coming to watchlist only.
3. Kindly add buy and sell orders can be placed in chart itself

Kindly work on other features where the customer can order multiple times on support and resistance levels, so even if he booked loses 0.5% or his entire value 5 to 10 times but finally, he can execute his order once the candle crosses from the respective support and resistance level. You are doing lot of updations, innovations and easy methods to trade in your software. BUT- BUT , still certain small , small things even if we take up with you , you are not ready to do it. why?
1. FIBONACCI – I want to draw without any background color. I select first white color square. Background gives MILKY MIST WHITE. Why can\’t you change it – without this fog white background.
2. TRADING VIEW – NIFTY 50 CHART – LTP only taken for R1 / S1 calculation. You are taking actual CLOSE PRICE as per chart. MARKET RESPECTS – CPR LEVELS AND PIVOTS DRAWN USING – LTP – only.
3. In FUTURE CHART – YOU ARE TAKING – LTP – not the actual close price as per chart – for PIVOT AND CPR calculation –
4. why this contradictory method for NIFTY 5O AND FUTURE – PIVOT CALCULATION

But I feel some basic safety criteria is missing .
When we buy or sell, the moment we input qty, price etc, the order gets executed.
In other full service trading panel, it will prompt us one more time to confirm showing all the details. So that we can recheck, or even second thought to avoid the transaction.
Is it deliberately avoided in zerodha,so that we should not have the second thought to cancel it?😁

But please note that BSE exchange is getting selected by default while adding the stock. Threre is no option to select the exchange.
Hi Jitendra, if the stock is listed on both exchanges, you can choose your preferred exchange and add the stock to your watchlist. Please also note that the stocks in your demat account don\’t have any exchange mapped to them. You can sell them either on NSE or BSE, irrespective of where you bought the stocks. Kite reflects holding value as per the price on the exchange where the previous closing was higher.
Please add uptrend/ downtrend/ trend reversal for stocks.

Hi Hemant, the amalgamated shares of Prabha Energy have already been credited with ISIN : INE0I0M01023 on 2024-11-28. Please check your email for the credit information. Once these shares listed on the exchanges, they will appear in your Kite holdings.

This is a good feature for people doing trade as beginners.
1. Add a symbol for denoting if gtt is configured against a stock in portfolio holdings.
2. Day based profit / loss amount for shares held will be good to have feature.
3. Having average number of days against shares held will give clarity on how long the investor is holding a stock and if it is giving the expected returns in days expected.
4. Long term shares can be denoted as LT if holding beyond 365 days.

The UI of kite web is horrible. Please add the option of bulk adding of symbols in watchlist. Please also add a coloumn in holdings section to include days\’ profit and loss of individual scrips. Most importantly in the holdings the gtt tag should be visible for those scrips in which gtt is set.
