That way it will be lot more convenient for trader/investors to add calendar directly to their Google account and get notified for holiday over smartphone in advance.
Done Bharat, Cheryl has just added the google calendar link at the end of the blogpost.

Thanks for sharing the information
nse equity ka time change ho raha ha keya? 9.30 am se 10 p.m ho raha keya?
No change in time.
Thanks.
Thanx for update.
But NITHINJI disappoint with Pi performance; chart is hang or not working sometime(Specially at morning). In price bar and snapshot LTP reflect different price !?
Darshan, send an email to [email protected], our team will call and check. You need to have a powerful system and internet for good performance. Also try not opening too much data on the chart.
TQ
Thank U Mr.Nithin,I had written to support to add weekly, monthly, quarterly timeframe in Pi charts but it has not been added. Also is it possible to link Metatrader 4 or 5 to Pi charts instead of Amibroker?I would like Zerodha to conduct training in share markets like trading intraday, short term with top traders for a reasonable fee,i’m sure many Zerodha clients will be interested.Sharekhan, ICICI are having training classes for their clients so if you can think of something it would be good for all.
Avinash, there are many charting requests, will take time. Have you checked our education initiative Varsity? http://zerodha.com/varsity/
Thank u so much for the valuable information….high Nithin try to down the leverage for intraday…it also required..
I mailed 6 month statement. But still not activated F&O
Best to send account specific queries to [email protected]
dear g…………… you have to some sign and tike zerodha account form……….then after they are clear that………… this was same problem to me……………thank u………………..
Thanks for the valuable information.
Great fan of you Nithin and of Zerodha too.
Thanks for the holiday list.
Awesome work that you have done with just about everything.
If it is possible for u guys to make a strong and dynamic chart software with ability to fire orders right from the chart with high quality charts even if that’s for a moderate fee. That would be great. Something like E-trade.
I would also like u to take at trade view.
Overall great job. Keep rocking!

Hi sir,
Did you stopped the Trade express which is available at trade.zerodha.com from working?
Because it is not opening from my chrome browser of android mobile.
Trade express will work on browser with java version of 7 and below, on latest version it won’t. Anyhow one can use Z5 and market watch on trade.zerodha.com or can use kite.zerodha.com.
Yes, we have rested trade express. You can use https://kite.trade//docs/kite/
Thanks for your reply.I am already using kite from my android mobile.
But I would like to use Trade express instead of that.
For that purpose what should I have to do?will it work from android mobile?
Thanks boos
thanks
Nice I will enjoy those Friday and Monday for short trip.
Very good to know in advance…….
Zerodha Rocks…!! So far so good….I am a new customer lets see how the trading experience goes….
In Equities trading there is Demat account and we can transfer Shares to another broker in case One brokerage firm in financial crisis or losses. In the case of Commodity trading there is no Demat account….. I want ot trade with 10 Lakh rupees. How can you promise that my Amount that to be safe.
I had answered this before, check this: https://tradingqna.com/2302/how-safe-is-it-to-trade-with-zerodha
I’m not able to see the holidays in the Google Calendar. Is it just me having this issue? 🙁
Hi Basil.
I just checked this out. The Calendar is working fine. Can you please check again and let us know if you’re still facing this issue?
Happy holidays
As far as I know…MCX is not open on Saturday/Sunday….Then how come the evening session is shown open on Mahavir jayanti, bakrid, mohuram which falls on either Saturday or Sunday
Checking this.
Hi Sir,
As per NSE holiday list 28th March is Trading holiday.
But how come market is open today.
How this miscommunication from NSE India itself.
It is not a trading holiday, it is a settlement holiday. Only the clearing corporations are closed. Check this post.
Hello Team,
In above calendar on 10th May 2017 it is written as Trading Holiday on account of Buddh Pournima for MCX for both sessions.
However, there is no Trading Holiday mentioned for Buddha Porunima(10th May 2017) on MCX site below…
https://www.mcxindia.com/market-operations/trading-survelliance/trading-holidays
Could you please confirm the same.
Thanks,
Amey
Thanks for pointing out, we are correcting this. Only settlement holiday, MCX and NSE/BSE working.
Thanks to zerodha team
At least zerodha not give any stock suggestions. But he had to create a channel in WhatsApp or telegram to her traders which connect to any professional profiting trader
agree
Thanks a billion Nithin & Team.
What about holiday on Raksha-Bandhan 7 Aug 2017?
It is not a holiday.
Thanks
That means in this Diwali market going to open partially, only for 6pm to 7pm without brokerage charges.
Kanchan, the special Muhurat trading session will be held from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm today and yes, no brokerage. 🙂 Check this bulletin for more.
Nitin Sir,
i have a query. please clear it.
Nov 23 Is Thanks Giving Day in U.S.A —- THERFORE A NATIONAL HOLIDAY — But Indian Market is open , Since The commodity Market is linked to USA ( especially Crude, NG , GOLD AND SILVER , WHO REGULATES THE PRICE MOVEMENTS .
Secondly, Nov 30 ( Thursday) is OPEC MEETING —– THERE Will be big movements( my exoerience last year. But Under Trading Holidays given by zerodha , the morning session is closed and only evening session is open. This is not Fair. Can u clear the air about this.
Jayakumar RAJU S
Hi
can you pls provide ‘days left to long term gain’ for stocks as it will be help to make selling decisions for moderate to long term investor like me.
This one is available on HDFC securities, but I prefer to invest through zerodha.
Hiii,
I had brought 8nos shares of ISFT yesterday, why same is not showing in my account in “Holding” bucket
1st December was a settlement holiday. As such, the stocks bought on 30/11 wouldn’t be visible. Check this bulletin for more: https://zerodha.com/marketintel/Bulletin/525
Hi, I want to withdraw funds but Q is not showing that option. I emailed customer support, but no response. Called the customer support number but it says we are closed and check the holiday calendar. Today is not a holiday. Please address my email ASAP. Ticket#636994
Support lines close at 6. The withdrawal window is now available till 8:30. 6.30 to 7.30 withdrawal is disabled as we’re running the trade process for the day.
thank you and good luck
I have bought some Liquidbees and requested them to be pledged I want to know that for F&O trading will these be counted as the cash component of margin.
Yes, that’s right.
If I sell shares from my holding Will I get the margin same day or T+2 day.
Hey Ramesh, you get margins immediately that you can use to trade. The proceeds of the sale can only be withdrawn after T+2 though.
