Over time, this can turn into a long list of stocks, indices, and contracts that becomes harder to manage. Even if you split them across multiple watchlists, finding the instrument you need at the right moment can still take time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last year, we redesigned marketwatch on the Kite web to make it easier to organise and track instruments. We\u2019ve now brought the same experience to the Kite mobile app.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new marketwatch adds several improvements, including higher watchlist capacity, custom grouping of instruments, easier navigation, and ready-made watchlists to quickly track different market segments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you&#8217;d like to see how everything works, watch the walkthrough below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Redesigned marketwatch is now on Kite app: 25 watchlists, custom groups and pre-built lists\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mcwC7L0Ts7c?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><b>Track more instruments with higher watchlist limits<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MarketWatch now supports significantly larger watchlists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can create up to 25 watchlists, and each watchlist can hold up to 250 instruments, allowing you to track far more stocks, indices, derivatives, or ETFs than before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navigation has also been improved. You can scroll seamlessly across watchlists, and the list loops back to the beginning once you reach the end. Jumping between watchlists is also easier through the My Watchlists section.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image4.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Small usability improvements make the experience smoother as well. When you add a new instrument, the list automatically scrolls to show where it has been added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image1.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>Organise instruments using custom groups<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A major addition to marketwatch is custom grouping.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Groups allow you to organise instruments within the same watchlist based on themes that make sense for you. For example, you could separate banking stocks from IT stocks, keep short-term trading ideas apart from long-term investments, or group instruments by strategies or sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can create multiple groups inside a watchlist, name them however you prefer, and assign colours to make them easier to identify at a glance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Groups can also be expanded or collapsed to reduce clutter when you\u2019re focusing on a specific set of instruments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image5.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-445067\" src=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image5.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"927\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instruments can be moved between groups simply by dragging and dropping them, and groups themselves can be reordered or even moved across watchlists.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image2.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Introducing new marketwatch on Kite app<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sorting options are available within groups, allowing instruments to be arranged by price, percentage change, alphabetically, or by exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image3.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>Discover ready-made watchlists<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marketwatch is now divided into two sections:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>My Watchlists<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: watchlists you create and manage<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Discover<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: ready-made watchlists curated for different market segments<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Discover section includes commonly tracked groups such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nifty 50 stocks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sector indices like Auto or Bank<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global indices<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F&amp;O stocks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ETFs and other market segments<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image1-5.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can add any of these watchlists to your marketwatch instantly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of these are pre-built watchlists that update automatically.
