Different stocks, expiries, and long or short positions, all mixed, can make it hard to see what\u2019s really happening.<\/p>\n<p>To make this easier, we\u2019ve added a feature to group and filter positions, which lets you organise your positions just the way you want, so you can track positions and P&amp;L more easily.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f-RuUtjGARE\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Position grouping<\/h2>\n<p>By default, all your positions appear in a single list with a combined P&amp;L at the bottom, just like before. But now, you can change the view from Settings.<\/p>\n<h3>Underlying<\/h3>\n<p>Select \u201cUnderlying\u201d to group all positions of the same instrument. For instance, if you trade Nifty and Sensex F&amp;O contracts across expiries, each will appear under its group with a combined P&amp;L for that group beside it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/underlying-1.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Underlying and Expiry<\/h3>\n<p>If you want a more detailed view, choose \u201cUnderlying and Expiry.\u201d This groups positions by both instrument and expiry date, which is especially handy when you trade multiple expiries of the same stock or index.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/underlyingexpiry2-ezgif.com-optimize.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-433738\" src=\"https:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/underlyingexpiry2-ezgif.com-optimize.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1889\" height=\"932\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Each group can be collapsed or expanded, so you can focus only on what matters.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Collapseexpand2-ezgif.com-optimize.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-433727\" src=\"https:\/\/zerodha.com\/z-connect\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Collapseexpand2-ezgif.com-optimize.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1889\" height=\"932\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Filters<\/h3>\n<p>We\u2019ve also added filters to refine your view further. You can now filter positions by segment, product type, or status, whether open, closed, long, short, or overnight.
