You can change the font for Zerodha Trader (ZT) by going to Preferences > User Settings > Market Watch. You can choose any font you like and click Apply. If you want to have your font appear like it does on our Products page, use Verdana as your font.

  7. Atul A says:

Is it possible to change shortcut keys? Especially buy/sell order keys.

    • Hanan says:

Yep, it’s possible, but I’d suggest you not change the Buy/Sell shortcuts as they are global shortcuts.
To access the shortcut manager on ZT, press Alt+H on your market watch. This will open the “hotkey manager window” on which you can change all the shortcut keys you wish to.

  8. Vijay says:

  10. VNS Kodukula says:

Is there any option to COPY TRADES from the one account to OTHER at a time ? (viz., Referral accounts / Sub Accounts etc.,)

    In a brief :
If I intend to give a suggestion to one of my follower / referral account to BUY / SELL, it is easier to add account into my master account and place the orders which I used. It already known as in MT4 as TRADE COPIER.

This facility is available in Zerodha ? or Not ?

    • VNS, not allowed on Indian exchanges by the regulator. But on our new platform Pi which is in Beta, we have a concept of expert advisor. If you have a strategy, you can share it with your friends. Whenever the expert advisor gives buy/sell, an alert is generated, and the person can click on buy/sell.

  11. Julius JR says:

I want to create, check and use with EXPERT ADVICE in Pi.

    My Simple Rules are

    [email protected]
    Buy=TodayOPen+ ((Previous Day High-Previous Day Low)/2)
    Sell= TopdayOpen- ((Previous Day High-Previous Day Low)/2)

    [email protected]
Need to Plot Yesterday High & Low Price line automatically in the chart

Actullay I need lines to indiacte in the 3mins/5mins chart.

Zerodha Team, Please help me to do this.
    Thanks in Advance.

  12. sahil says:

How to use hotkeys on pi

  13. sahil says:

I am not talking about the shortcut keys, that i know, i am taking about the the hot keys i.e. if i want to directly place the buy or sell order on the chart with pre-decided qty. in the setting, then i just have to to press the hot keys, not your shortcuts- go to f1, enter qty., enter price, this is a very long procedure.
While entring the order with the shortcuts that you have provided the price had already changed for the stock.
The current procedure is very long, you need to modify it with hotkeys

  14. sahil says:

Another feature which is still missing is the weekly and the monthly charts.
Pls look forward to this as well.

  15. sachin says:

How to use hotkeys on kite

  16. Injeel Ahmed says:

Sir, how may I define my own shortcut key, with predefined quantity and order type? If its still not possible to do then please add this feature. I am an intraday trader and it becomes very difficult to make profit without shortcut keys. All my mentors from US, they use shortcut keys to trade and I didn’t find such feature in any Indian Broker’s platform. Please be the first 🙂

  17. Tarun says:

Provide a button so that all the stocks in pi ticker can be selected and copied to excel – I can select individual stock – provide a solution for selecting all the stocks in the ticker

    Thanking you

    • Venu says:

Use the Link to Excel option to export your Marketwatch (MW) to an excel sheet. Right click on the MW and select Link to Excel (Shortcut key: Ctrl+E) to use this feature.

    i was envisioning something like
    ctrl-1 buy100 shares, ctrl-2 200 shares, ctrl-5 500 shares…etc.
