Arvind, guess you need to first get a hang of basics. We are working on the futures module on Varsity, do check it out: http://zerodha.com/varsity/. Option writing margin depends on strike and risk, and yes it is not the same as futures. You can use our SPAN calculator to check: https://zerodha.com/margin-calculator/SPAN/. IF you hold a position for 13000, and you have more money in the account, then the total money is considered before squaring off positions.
