Comment on BTST/ATST( Buy/Acquire Today Sell tomorrow)

What happens if a BTST happens on ex-date of rights issue…..buy on ex-date but sell next day ….
Because the stick price would be reflected as per the rights issue but the number of stocks is not reflected
can you pls throw some light on this ?
