Comment on MCX - Profit/Loss for every 1 Rs change

Well that means even if i get a profit of a mere 5 points in the crude oil for 10 lots , I’ll be able to gain a profit of 5000 Rs. right ? I’m new to this and I’ve been thinking as to why this technique isn’t used by many people?
