Comment on Account Opening Documentation & Charges

Please clarify my query, I wish to invest ASAP
Can I open a normal resident savings account for my wife with SBI / Axis bank in order to transfer and start trading.
She is with me in Qatar and she is non-working, non earning member
Her account will be funded from my account only
